An informational workshop on the topic
“Intestinal Disorders: Information – Support – Care” was held with great success on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Kyperounta Cultural Center.

The event was organized by the Nursing Services Education Division of the Ministry of Health, Frederick University, in collaboration with the Cyprus Association for Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s Disease and with the support of Troodos Hospital.

The aim of the workshop was to highlight the need for a deeper understanding of intestinal diseases, to strengthen psychological and social support for patients and their families, and to raise awareness among the general public regarding the challenges associated with chronic intestinal diseases.

Special thanks to the organizers and speakers, who, with their knowledge and experience, provided substantive content and sparked a fruitful dialogue.
Finally, we thank the audience for their participation, and with optimism we continue our ongoing effort to inform and raise public awareness about Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD).
