Announcement
A charity initiative by the Miles4Guts running team will take place on Saturday, 17 May 2025, in recognition of World IBD Day (Inflammatory Bowel Diseases), which includes Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s Disease. The team will complete a marathon, starting from Athalassa Park (near Nicosia General Hospital) at 15:30 and finishing at the beachfront stage – Kimon Statue in Larnaca (Finikoudes) at 20:30.
With determination, perseverance, and solidarity, the aim of the marathon is to raise awareness, promote understanding, and support people living with Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s Disease.
A limited number of participants will take part in the marathon, and the event will be broadcast live via Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, allowing everyone to join the initiative and support awareness of these conditions.
The Miles4 team is collaborating with the Cyprus Association for Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s Disease (CYCCA), with the goal of supporting its work financially while also raising public awareness about IBD.
We would be delighted to see you either at the starting point at 15:30 or at the finish line at 20:30.
United We Can!
