General Assembly of IFCCA (International Federation of Crohn's & Ulcerative Colitis Associations) - Brussels 2026

The President of the Cyprus Association for People with Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis (PA.SY.E.K.K.), Natasa Theodosiou, and PA.SY.E.K.K. member Andria Georgiou participated in the General Assembly of the International Federation of Crohn’s and Ulcerative Colitis Associations (IFCCA), which took place in Brussels on Saturday, 6 June, with the participation of approximately 40 IBD patient associations from around the world.

During this year’s Assembly, new member organizations and observers from countries including Chile, Georgia, Australia, and Turkey joined the global IFCCA network.

The IFCCA Youth Group presented its activities and future plans, reminding us of the importance of youth participation and representation in discussions and decisions concerning the future of the IBD community.

Natasa Theodosiou chaired the General Assembly and presented the awareness campaign video created by PA.SY.E.K.K., with the support of IFCCA, on the occasion of World IBD Day (19 May), entitled:

“IBD has no borders. Living with IBD shouldn’t depend on where you live.”
