We are delighted to inform you that, after years of persistent effort and continuous advocacy by both the Cyprus Association for Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s Disease (PA.SY.E.K.K.) and the Cyprus Gastroenterology Society, through a series of meetings with the Health Insurance Organisation (HIO), the Parliamentary Health Committee, and the Ministry of Health, the inclusion of the iron preparation Ferric Carboxymaltose dispersion for injection/infusion 50mg iron/ml (FERINJECT) in the General Healthcare System (GHS) has been achieved.

This important development is the result of a long-standing and collective effort aimed at improving the quality of life of patients living with Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD).
