On 2 April 2025, the Cyprus Association for Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s Disease (CYCCA) signed a Bilateral Cooperation Agreement with the Multidisciplinary Centre for Speech and Intelligence in Nicosia. It was agreed that we would join forces towards the common goal of supporting children, adults, and their families living with Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s Disease. Occupational Therapy

- Early Screening Tests are subsidised by the organisation and reduced from €80 to €30.
- These services are not covered by GeSY.
- For cases requiring ongoing support, the cost per session is reduced from €40 to €35 for one session per week, and from €35 to €30 for two sessions per week.
Speech and Language Therapy

- Early Screening Tests are subsidised by the organisation and reduced from €60 to €30.
- Services are covered by GeSY. Referrals may be issued by Paediatric Neurologists, ENT Specialists, Child Psychiatrists, Developmental Paediatricians, Pulmonologists, and specialised Paediatricians.
- For services outside GeSY requiring additional support, the cost per session is reduced from €40 to €35 for one session per week, and from €35 to €30 for two sessions per week.

Assessments

- The WISC assessment, normally costing €500, is available for €400 and is conducted exclusively at the Centre’s premises.
Workshops and Group Sessions
Multidisciplinary Centre for Speech and Intelligence (MCSI) – NICOSIA
- Experiential seminar for parents on emotional management, facilitated by a Clinical Psychologist. Groups will consist of a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 10 participants. Additional groups may be formed in cases of high demand. The first workshop will be offered free of charge; thereafter, the fee will be €140.
*Workshop and group session fees are charged on a monthly basis for the entire group.
