The Counseling, Research and Psychological Services Centre (S.K.E.P.S.Y.) of Neapolis University Pafos, in collaboration with the Cyprus Association for Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s Disease, is organizing an awareness and information event on the occasion of World IBD Day.

• Georgia Stylianou & Mariamela Chalkidou – Trainee Counselling Psychologists (S.K.E.P.S.Y.)
As part of the event, a short presentation entitled “Stories of People Living with IBD” will be delivered by Natasa Theodosiou (President of PA.SY.E.K.K.) and Andria Georgiou (Member of PA.SY.E.K.K.).

The event will focus on:
• Early diagnosis and modern treatment options
• Psychological support for people living with IBD
• The daily challenges faced by patients
• Inequalities in access to care and support

Through scientific knowledge as well as personal experiences, the event opens a dialogue on health equity and the importance of holistic care.

The event is open to the public and is intended for students, healthcare professionals, and anyone interested.
