On Tuesday, 05/10/2021, the President and Vice President of our Association (CYCCA), together with Member of Parliament Mr Charalambos Theopemptou, who supports and assists our Association, met with the Minister of Health, Mr Michalis Hadjipantela. During the meeting, they presented the various issues affecting patients living with Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s Disease and requested immediate action to address these concerns.

The Minister showed understanding and, regarding many of our requests, proceeded to make immediate telephone contact with the relevant officials of the Ministry, asking them to take the necessary steps towards the prompt resolution of these matters. We hope to see positive results very soon. Our cooperation with the Minister will continue, with the ultimate goal of finding solutions to the challenges faced by our patients.
