Dear Patients, Friends, and Members of the Association for Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s Disease,

On Friday, 16 June, at 9:00 a.m., we will gather outside the House of Representatives to demand the implementation of the General Healthcare System (GeSY) — here and now.

We call on all of you who supported the efforts of the Cyprus Federation of Patients’ Associations and Friends through the signature campaign (you can sign here: http://gesyedokaitora.com) for the resolution supporting the implementation of GeSY, to stand with us.

On Friday, we are preparing to celebrate a victory. After many years of effort, we have collectively fought for something fundamental. As we reach the final stage, we must all be there to apply pressure and ensure that the two bills to be discussed in the Plenary Session of the House are approved.

The resolution that you endorsed, strengthening our efforts, will be presented to the President of the House at 9:30 a.m.

We will remain at the venue until the final vote on the bills. Until we can finally take our healthcare into our own hands.

On Friday, we gather in support of the right to healthcare. Will you join us?

Our Vice President will be present at the venue, and you may ask for him so that we can form our own group together.
